Update 5

INSIDE THE CAR

Rahul was driving the car and abhimanyu was sitting on the passenger seat while armaan and riddhima were sitting on the back seat. Armaan kept their hands entwined from the moment they sat inside the car. Riddhima didn’t protest at all because she knew if she did her punishment would only increase and she didn’t want to increase her punishment anymore simply because she was scared from his punishment as they proved to be dangerous for her. 

Rahul who was driving looks at the mirror to get a view of armaan riddhima. After knowing armaan planned something for riddhima he was really tensed and worried for her.

Rahul (in his mind): I just hope armaan isn’t planning something nasty. What should I do to save riddhima? I don’t even know what armaan has planned for her. (Before he could think further abhimanyu’s words brought him back to reality)

Abhimanyu: Rahul drive fast we have to reach there as soon as possible otherwise nikki will eat me alive if we reach late and I don’t wish to die so soon.

Armaan: someone is scared from the threat given by his fiancé.

Abhimanyu: When you can’t save me from her then I only have to save myself from her anger and the best way to save me from her wrath is, is to listen to all her threats.

Armaan: I will definitely take her side in such matters and that too because how can I miss a golden opportunity to see you getting punished?

Abhimanyu: speak as much as you want to because I am sure one day even I’ll get an opportunity to see you getting punished.

Armaan: that day shall never come because unlike you I know how to control riddhima and she wouldn’t dare to raise her voice in front of me (he looks towards riddhima and continues speaking) right riddhima?

Riddhima who was silently listening to the entire conversation was only cursing herself as she wasn’t as brave as nikki. She lacked that boldness or rather confidence to oppose armaan, which nikki or others had but it was not like she never tried being confident. Whenever she tried to be as brave as them her confidence was brutally snatched away from her by the very same person who was sitting next to her and that was armaan mallik. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn’t realize armaan asked her something.

Armaan (when he didn’t get any answer he asked her in a raised voice): Riddhima where are you lost?

Armaan’s raised voice brought riddhima back to reality. She looked at armaan with a confused face.

Riddhima (in a nonchalant tone): huh

Armaan: What was it that you were thinking? And I said you wouldn’t dare to raise your voice in front of me right? (Riddhima with a blank expression nodded her head in yes while armaan smirked)

Armaan (looked at abhimanyu): See I told you.

Abhimanyu: not everyone is lucky like you wish nikki was like riddhima.

Rahul (immediately said): that can never happen. (He was referring to Riddhima’s sweet nature)

Armaan: I agree with Rahul.

Riddhima was hardly paying attention to the conversation that was going on rather she was now thinking that along with her punishment she would also have to meet nikki and being with her was nothing less than a punishment for her. If she was just scared before then now, she was scared to death. Riddhima was now trying hard to control her already increased heart beats.

Abhimanyu received a call and after seeing the name that was flashing on his screen he gulped down his saliva. Armaan who was noticing his expressions from back seat smiled as he knew who was calling Abhimanyu.

Abhimanyu (after picking his): Hey nikki baby

Nikki: where are you guys?

Abhimanyu: on our way, we’ll take another ten minutes to reach the venue.

Nikki: I told you guys to leave as early as possible but why will you all listen to me right?

Abhimanyu: nahiin aisa kuch nahiin hai

Nikki: leave it. Anyway, I called you up to inform that I have reached the venue and going inside. When you guys reach then come inside directly ok?

Abhimanyu: oh ok. (Abhimanyu cut the call and then looked at Rahul and said) Rahul drive fast she has already reached.

Rahul (in a sarcastic tone): what do you want me to do? Convert this car into a plane? Can’t you see the traffic? We can’t do anything until we pass this traffic jam.

Abhimanyu (in a frustrated tone): why the hell did you take this route? Didn’t you know the other route?

Rahul (in a sarcastic tone): This route is the shorted route to the venue. If we would have taken any other route than this, then it would have taken us double the time to reach the venue. Apart from you even armaan wanted to reach the venue as soon as possible so I had to take this route considering the fact that it’s the shortest route. I had no idea that we’ll be stuck in a traffic jam so don’t shout at me.

Armaan (in an irritated tone): Enough. Both of you have lost it. Rahul concentrate on your driving and Abhimanyu calm down nothing will happen.

After this both Rahul and Abhimanyu kept quiet. Armaan sighed in relief and took out his phone to check if there was any message or not. Meanwhile riddhima paid no attention to their argument and kept looking outside the window. She was busy thinking that what will happen next. The vibration of her phone brought her back to reality.

Riddhima checked her phone. There was a message from muskaan. Riddhima smiled and quickly reads the message.

Muskaan: Don’t take tension, nothing important happening. However, wait you have been marked present so chill and take care of yourself.

Riddhima was about to type her reply when suddenly armaan snatched her phone. Armaan had seen her checking her phone and when she smiled, he wanted to know what made her smile. After a minute when riddhima was about to type something he understood that someone had sent her a message. Curiosity took over him to know who had sent her a message and thus he snatched her phone to check the sender and as well as the message by the sender.

With the sudden snatching of her phone, riddhima was in a state of shock. Riddhima took few seconds to calm down and then looked at armaan who was by now reading her message. Armaan after seeing who the sender was and as well as after reading the message was satisfied and happy that riddhima was not talking to any boy or an unknown person. He returned her phone to her and continued checking his mails on his phone. Riddhima quickly replied to muskaan.

Riddhima: muski do make notes in each and every class. I will later study from them.

Muskaan who was attending her college was presently sitting in her class. She smiled seeing riddhima’s message.

Muskaan (shook her head and thought): I told her not to take tension and yet she is taking. What do I do with her? (Muskaan looked at the teacher and waited for the teacher to look towards the board. As soon as the teacher turned towards the board muskaan quickly typed her reply.)

Muskaan: I told you not to take tension and yet you taking it? Too much of tension is not good for one’s health. Leave studies aside for the time being and take rest at home.

Seeing muskaan’s message riddhima realized that she hadn’t informed muskaan that she was going to a disco with armaan. Riddhima was now in dilemma that whether she should inform muskaan or not. If she would inform muskaan then she knew that muskaan would freak out and somehow would try to reach the venue to help her. But if she didn’t inform her then later when she would come to know about it and then she would not talk to her for at least a day which she couldn’t bear it.

After thinking for few minutes she decided to tell muskaan. Riddhima quickly typed her message but before she could click send her phone was again snatched by armaan. Riddhima looked at armaan with terrified expressions. Armaan read her entire conversation and then before deleting her reply he glanced at riddhima. Riddhima lowered her eyes when armaan glanced at her.

Armaan (while returning her phone): no need to tell her.

Riddhima (in a scared tone): I will just tell her that I am out with you. I promise I won’t tell her about us going to disco. Please armaan.

Armaan (while looking straight into riddhima’s eyes): I don’t like repeating myself. I am keeping your phone with me so that nobody disturbs us for some time at least, ok?  (Riddhima lowered her eyes and even though she nodded her head in agreement, she didn’t wanted to at first place. They finally reached their desired destination that was a disco. All of them got out of the car.)

Abhimanyu: Thank god we have reached earlier than I had expected. Anyways I am going inside wish me luck guys. (Both armaan and Rahul chuckled at this while Abhimanyu walked inside the disco.)

When riddhima saw the disco she realized why she had been brought here. The owner of the disco was none other than Nikita. Her chain of thoughts were broken when armaan slid his hands around her tiny waist.

Armaan (while looking at riddhima): Shall we? (Riddhima nodded her head and all three of them walked inside the disco.)

Riddhima nervously walked towards the disco as she was visiting such a place for the first time. Armaan noticed riddhima from the corner of his eyes. He smirked at her nervousness. When they entered inside the disco riddhima keenly observed the place. After few seconds, she realized it was empty. She skeptically looked at armaan. When armaan felt her gaze on him he turned towards her and looked at her.

Armaan: You must be thinking why this is empty right? (riddhima nervously nodded her head in yes) since I wanted to bring you here I requested nikki to close this disco for today as I wanted to be alone with you for some time and also because I didn’t want people to stare at us.

Riddhima was terrified after listening to armaan. Armaan smirked seeing her frightened face. Armaan thought something and then smiled mischievously.

Armaan (whispered in riddhima’s ears): are you scared to be alone with me? (Riddhima’s eyes widened with shock and she immediately looked at armaan. Armaan gave her a sly smile) tell me are you scared to be alone with me?

Riddhima (shook her head in negatively): nahiin

Armaan: good because we are soon going to get married and we’ll always be alone in our bedroom. Imagine you and me all alone especially during nights.

Armaan winked at riddhima and this very thought of her being alone with armaan in their bedroom after marriage terrified her further. Riddhima gulped down her saliva in fear. Before armaan could scare her further nikki came and hugged armaan.

Armaan (after breaking the hug): how are you nikki?

Nikki: I am fine armaan and I don’t need to ask you the same because I can see you are happy.

Nikki (looked at riddhima and tried hard to be polite while speaking): hi riddhima

Riddhima (smiled nervously and said): hi nikita

Nikki (with a forced smile): welcome to disco for the first time riddhima. I hope you’ll enjoy here with us and let me tell you armaan has personally planned this day for you.

Hearing this, that armaan had personally planned this day for her, frightened riddhima more. She silently prayed for the day to pass soon and that too without any more troubles for her.
