Update 10

Riddhima: I just finished my assignment and muskaan has gone out with our friends to eat at dhaba. They all wanted me to come with them, I mean except muskaan but I said no.

Armaan: Good, you remember it seems like. Anyway, be ready after college I’ll come to pick you up. After that we’ll be going to my house.

Riddhima continuously stared at her phone. Only one thing was going on her mind and that was ‘armaan was coming to pick her’. She couldn’t think straight after hearing armaan. She didn’t even heard the laughing voice of muskaan and friends. Muskaan stopped laughing and looked at riddhima. She waved her hand to gain her attention but all in vain.

Muskaan (shook riddhima): what happened? Why are you so lost?

After being shaken by muskaan, riddhima’s trance broke and looked at muskaan with a blank look. Muskaan looked curiously at riddhima. All her friends also stared at her with curious look. Riddhima looked at everyone but didn’t speak anything. Her quietness alarmed muskaan and she pulled riddhima away from the group.

Muskaan: Now tell what happened?

Riddhima (looked at muskaan): Armaan said he will come to college to pick me up.

Muskaan: Did he tell you the reason (riddhima shook her head in ‘no’). Ok don’t worry I’ll also come along (hearing this riddhima smiled). That’s like my girl. I know you don’t want to be alone with that Dracula so don’t worry I’ll be there with you.

Before riddhima could say anything their friends came towards them and at same time the bell rang, indicating it was time for classes again. Post lunch riddhima couldn’t concentrate in any of her class, all her mind was thinking that armaan was coming to pick her up. But that’s not what exactly was worrying her, his conversation from the previous night was replaying in her mind “If muskaan wouldn’t have interrupted us, I would have kissed you. It’s been ages I felt those soft lips against mine. Never mind the longer the wait, the better will be the fruit right?”

ARMAAN’s CABIN

Armaan was sitting in his cabin and was typing something on his laptop. Suddenly Abhimanyu walked inside his cabin with a file.

Abhimnayu (after sitting down): Armaan my sources have informed me that the tender we are filling is leaked (armaan immediately looked towards Abhimanyu). I know it is shocking, I guess our rivals have planted their informer amongst us.

Armaan: do you know who it can be?

Abhimanyu: wish I had an idea about it but sorry I really couldn’t find out.

Armaan: we need to tell this to atul bhaiya immediately this is a serious matter.

Abhimanyu: I had already asked him to come to your cabin as fast as possible.

Suddenly the door opened and atul and Rahul walked inside the cabin. Armaan immediately stood up and then they all walked towards the sofa. Once everyone settled down Abhimanyu told Rahul and atul the information that he had told armaan. Both Rahul and atul were shocked with this information and had no idea what to say. Silence prevailed amongst them and no one said a word for quite some time.

Armaan (broke the silence): we can’t sit here like this; we have to find that traitor.

Atul: we will have to make a solid plan to catch that traitor red handed

Abhimanyu: but before that we need to change our quotation and refill the tender.

Rahul: I’ll do that right away, meanwhile you all can devise a plan to catch that traitor red handed (with that Rahul got up and left the room).

After rahul left, all three of them started thinking of a plan to catch the culprit red handed. Armaan looked at his watch and then quickly send a sms to riddhima. The sms armaan send to riddhima was ‘I am busy in a meeting so can’t call but will pick you up after college’.

COLLEGE

After reading the sms riddhima was somewhat relaxed as she wouldn’t have to wait for his calls after each class. However, she couldn’t fully relax as her mind was only thinking about the time when armaan would come to pick her up. If anyone saw her with the trustee of this college, it would become the talk of the town for an entire month. More than that she was worried how her friends would react to it. Above all what was actually scaring her was that she would be alone with armaan, why was he coming to pick her up and where would he take her?

Finally, the classes got over and now riddhima was almost shivering, she somehow wanted time to pass slowly but much to her thoughts it passed very fast. While exiting the classroom, riddhima checked her phone if there was any sms that said he wouldn’t be able to come due to meeting or was busy somewhere else, but to her luck there was no such message. She looked at muskaan who was busy packing her bags.

Riddhima: muski jaldi kar (muski be fast)

Muskaan: kar rahi hoon (doing) [muskaan quickly packed her bag and walked towards riddhima].

Shreya: Guys mera mann kar raha hai gol gappa khane ka toh chale? (Guys I want to eat gol gappa’s will you all come?]

Riddhima: I don’t feel like eating it so you all go.

Priya: what? you are being a spoil sport, if she wants to eat let’s go with her we will just stand there.

Siya: yeah we’ll accompany her till there and wait for her to eat. We’ll leave once she is done eating.

Nandini (who was noticing riddhima’s expressions): What’s wrong riddhima? Is everything fine?

Riddhima (in a disoriented state of mind): huh even if I wish to join you guys, it’s not really possible, you guys won’t understand my situation.

Shreya: then make us understand riddhima? You get frequent calls as if you have a boyfriend? If so does he calls you up to check on you?

Muskaan (muttered): boyfriend hota toh break up ka chance toh hota yeh toh hone wala pati hai (if he would have been her boyfriend then atleast there would have been a chance of breaking up with him. Here he is her soon to be husband).

Priya: muskaan did you say something?

Muskaan: nothing (looked at riddhima who was constantly looking at her phone). Riddhima lets go

Siya: this is not done guys, this is the time we can enjoy and you guys want to rush back home?

Nandini: Yes, riddhima this is the time we can enjoy otherwise once we pass out we’ll have no memorable moments together.

Before anyone else could say anything, riddhima’s phone started ringing. Riddhima quickly excused herself from the group and picked up the call.

Armaan: I am outside your college come fast.

Armaan cut the call after saying this and riddhima stared at her phone for few seconds. After that riddhima went back to her friends and pulled muskaan aside.

Riddhima (hyper tone): armaan has come, he is waiting outside college gate.

Muskaan: oh ok got it don’t get hyper let’s go (muskaan pulled riddhima towards the girls who were curiously looking at both of them). Sorry due to some emergency riddhima and I are leaving right now, see you guys tomorrow (Before anyone could say anything muskaan pulled riddhima along with her).

Everyone stared at muskaan and riddhima curiously and then looked at each other with confusion written all over their face.

OUTSIDE COLLEGE

Armaan was sitting on the back seat, he was wearing his glares and was looking absolutely stunning. He was checking some mails on his phone when the driver said that riddhima was coming. Armaan immediately looked towards the college gate and his smile turned into frown followed by anger. He clearly remembered telling riddhima that he was coming to pick her up, he never told her to bring muskaan along.

Riddhima came and stopped near the car, she opened the back seat door where as muskaan opened the front door. Riddhima sat with armaan and muskaan sat on the passenger seat.

Armaan (irritated tone): who invited you (looked at muskaan)

Muskaan (in the same irritated tone): I, me and myself. Any problem?

Armaan: Yes, very much as I invited only riddhima and not you (he then looked at riddhima). What was the need to tell her that I am coming to pick you up?

Muskaan (before riddhima could answer she said): Like you expect her to tell you each and everything, I too expect her to tell me each and everything.

Armaan: she telling me everything is different but she shouldn’t be telling you everything.

Muskaan (Irritated tone): Why is that so?

Armaan: She is my fiancé, my to be wife, and in a relationship one needs to be truthful, so she should be telling me each and everything and not you.

Muskaan: Exactly, you yourself said “in a relationship” relationship is not just defined as or rather confined to husband wife or to a fiancé, relationship can comprise of brother-sister, sister- sister or parent child relationship.

Armaan (cut her off in the middle): I don’t want to hear your lecture (muskaan made faces while he was saying this. This irritates armaan more so he looked at the driver and said). Driver first we’ll drop muskaan to her home then you can drop riddhima and me in mallik mansion.

Riddhima who was a silent spectator till now was continuously in her mind trying to stop muskaan from arguing with armaan. She knew armaaan was not the person who liked to argue, he believed in ending the talk as soon as possible with one final statement from his side.

When muskaan started talking about relationship, riddhima closed her eyes as she knew after this statement one final statement will come from armaan. Like expected, a reply came from armaan that was a final statement from his side. That final statement was also a final straw in the coffin as armaan had now made a decision that was obviously not in her favour. Now that the decision was made riddhima knew armaan would do what he said. Riddhima started feeling nervous.

As decided, muskaan was dropped at her home even though she protested that she wanted to be with riddhima. After dropping her, armaan and riddhima were on their way towards mallik house.

Riddhima was nervous and was equally scared. She did not dare to glance towards armaan, she knew she was in grave trouble so why she should look towards danger? She was looking outside the window and was silently wishing that the journey should be long lasting.

Much to riddhima’s wish they reached mallik mansion earlier than expected. The car entered the gate of mallik mansion and riddhima’s heartbeat increased. The car stopped at the gate of the house. The driver got down from the car and opened the door for armaan to get down. Armaan got down from the car and walked around to open the door for riddhima. Armaan held his hand out for riddhima, riddhima hesitantly kept her hand in his and came out of the car.

Both armaan and riddhima were standing and facing the house. Armaan was smirking while looking towards the house but riddhima was nervously looking towards the house. Armaan looked towards riddhima and his smirk increased if that was even possible.

Armaan (wrapped his hand around her shoulder): Come let’s go inside.

Riddhima nervously smiled while nodding and then they started walking. Once inside the house armaan asked her to wait in the drawing room. He started moving towards his room.

Anjali (was talking on phone while coming out of kitchen): Sure, next time ping me too whenever you plan to visit that shop (Anjali saw riddhima who was sitting on a sofa). I’ll call you back.

Anjali (she silently stood near riddhima): you here?

Riddhima(quickly stood up): Armaan…. he brought me here.

Anjali: So where is he? (Before riddhima could reply anjali continued speaking). Anyway, before I leave I want to say something and take it seriously (riddhima nodded her head in ‘yes’). Armaan loves you a lot so don’t hurt him by saying no for every effort he makes to strengthen the bond between both of you. If I see armaan is upset because of you, I will not spare you, you will be punished for that.

Riddhima who was already frightened because of armaan was now more frightened with anjali’s words, even if that was possible.

Coming up: Armaan deliberately puts romantic movie and watches with riddhima, Armaan drops riddhima home and talks to shashank regarding marriage
