Update 14

Riddhima was taking another bite of her food when her eyes landed on the entrance of dhaba. Her eyes widened in horror. Armaan was standing there and was watching her with anger on his face. After seeing armaan at the entrance of the dhaba, riddhima shut her eyes tightly. Her heartbeat increased. She silently prayed that all this was a dream. She prayed that when she would open her eyes armaan should not be standing at the entrance. She hoped all this was her illusion.

Riddhima slowly opened her eyes and found armaan was still standing at the entrance. He was looking towards her only. The only difference she saw was that his anger was replaced by a smirk on his face. Riddhima was confused with his behaviour. She looked here and there to check if, anyone was looking at her, but she found her friends were busy talking to each other. Suddenly her phone rang. She checked her phone and saw there was a message from armaan.

RIddhima looked here and there to see if armaan was standing nearby or not. When she did not find him, she again looked at her phone and read the message “If you don’t want to create any drama then come out, I am waiting for you in my car”. After reading the message riddhima looked towards her friends and this time all of them were looking at her only.

Priya: here we are busy discussing what to order and you are busy checking your phone?

shreya: Whom are you messaging?

Nandini: Is everything fine riddhima?

Siya: why is it that you always seem lost whenever we all sit together?

Riddhima was numb after hearing her friends. She had no idea what to say or reply to her friends. She looked at muskaan and gestured her to look at her phone. Muskaan quickly took riddhima’s phone and read the message. After reading the message muskaan stared at riddhima for few seconds and then realized she needed to act fast, riddhima needed her help. Muskaan blinked her eyes once, this gesture of her gave riddhima an assurance that she would handle the situation here. Riddhima smiled nervously and took her phone back from riddhima.

Shreya: what is it muskaan?

Nandini: first riddhima and now you? What is there in that phone that both of you look as If you have seen some ghost?

Muskaan: Nothing nandini it was just a message from one of our known person, nothing serious.

Priya: if it’s not serious then why both of you look so astonish, as if someone has caught you red handed?

Hearing this riddhima was scared and immediately stood up, followed by muskaan. All four of them looked at riddhima and muskaan with a confused look.

Muskaan: what do you mean caught red handed? We haven’t done anything to be caught red handed. I mean we haven’t done anything wrong to get caught red handed.

Siya: then why are you so hyperactive?

Priya: Yeah, I mean, look at both of you, your expressions and behaviour says as if you are caught by your boyfriend red handed.

Riddhima (finally reacted): I…. I don ….. I don’t have ….. I don’t have a boyfriend.

Nandini: Calm down riddhima we were just joking.

Riddhima: I have to go bye (after saying that riddhima took her bag and left the dhaba).

Shreya: what happened to her?

Muskaan: Nothing may be she remembered something, that’s why left like this. I will ask her at home. Anyway, I too should leave riddhima must be waiting outside (muskaan also left).

Nandini: Guys I feel something is wrong, riddhima gets a message and after reading it, she behaves weird.

Priya: even muskaan behaves weird after reading the message.

Siya: yeah, guys do you think we should (left her sentence mid-way).

Shreya: yes, I too think we should also read that message. After all, we should know what is going on, why every time both of them behave weird after seeing the phone.

Nandini: So, guys tomorrow we will check riddhima’s phone and read that message what say? (Everyone agreed and started eating the food, which they had ordered).

OUTSIDE DHABA

Riddhima came out running and saw armaan was standing next to his car along with bodyguards. Riddhima gulped down her saliva and started moving towards armaan. Armaan looked at her with anger and riddhima silently prayed for her well-being. As soon as she reached armaan, she tried to say something, but armaan didn’t let her speak.

Armaan (angry tone): you will pay for not listening to me.

Before armaan could speak anything further, he looked behind riddhima and he fumed further. Riddhima looked at armaan when he stopped speaking and found him looking behind her. Riddhima followed his gaze and turned back. Riddhima found muskaan standing there, but before she could call muskaan, armaan held her hand and dragged her towards the car’s backseat door. Armaan pushed riddhima inside the car and when he too was about to sit, muskaan stopped him.

Muskaan: Armaan stop what are you doing?

Armaan (in an irritating tone): Don’t interfere just leave from here.

Muskaan: what do you mean leave from here? I am not going anywhere without riddhima.

Armaan: Your sister is my fiancé and I too have a right to spend some time with her. I will drop her home at night.

Muskaan: even I will come along.

Armaan (lost his patience): Listen muskaan and get this straight riddhima is my fiancé. Today, she lied to me and I want to know because of whom. Also, stop interfering between us. Haven’t you heard one should never poke their nose between couples? Stay away from riddhima and my relationship it will be good for everyone (Before muskaan could say anything armaan sat inside the car and asked the driver to start the car).

Muskaan: Armaan listen to me it was not riddhima’s mistake.

The car started. Riddhima who was listening to their conversation looked at muskaan for help. Riddhima continued to look at muskaan till she was out of her sight. Riddhima entwined her hand and lightly pressed it. She was nervous and scared. She glanced at armaan, his expressions were scaring her further. Armaan’s face showed a mixture of anger and frustration. When armaan felt riddhima was looking at him, he looked towards her. At the same time, riddhima averted her eyes. 

Armaan observed riddhima for some time and his constant stare made riddhima shiver. She continuously pressed her hand to calm herself. Armaan observed this and smirked. He pressed a button and a glass window scrolled down, this obstructed the driver from seeing what was happening behind. The glass window was also soundproof. Riddhima’s heartbeat increased and she turned her head towards the window.

Armaan: You amuse me riddhima, you seriously amuse me (hearing armaan’s voice riddhima looked at him). You seriously thought you will be spared after lying to me.

Riddhima (stammered): Armaan…. Armaan…. Armaan I did…. I did not want to go there.

Armaan: Yet I find you there.

Riddhima: They…. They requested and… and I couldn’t say no.

Armaan: Of course, you could not and you know why? (Riddhima shook her head in ‘no’). You too wanted to go with them, that’s why.

Riddhima: Nahiin

Before riddhima could say anything armaan grabbed her hair in a tight fist. Riddhima yelped in pain and shut her eyes. Riddhima held armaan’s collar for support.

Armaan: When I said, don’t go it meant that you are not supposed to go but you still went. May I know the reason behind your disobeying behaviour?

Riddhima: They…. They requested and… and I could not say no.

Armaan: will you stop repeating the same thing? It’s just increasing my anger more.

OUTSIDE DHABA

Muskaan was still standing there and was trying to think what she could do next. She quickly took out her phone and dialed a number. When no one picked her phone, she again dialed the number. When no one picked the call, in frustration she banged her foot on the floor. She again dialed the number until someone picked it up.

Muskaan: Hi Rahul, I need your help.

Rahul: Now what happened?

Muskaan shared the happenings with Rahul and Rahul just shook his head after hearing muskaan. Rahul thought why they love hitting their foot on an axe. Nevertheless, he agreed to help but for that, they have to know the place where armaan was taking riddhima.

ARMAAN’S FARMHOUSE

Armaan dragged riddhima from his car till his bedroom. He pushed riddhima on bed upon reaching his bedroom. He went towards the cupboard and opened it. He took out a Gun from the drawer and turned towards riddhima. Riddhima looked at armaan and found him holding a gun. She paralyzed seeing the gun.

Armaan: Do you see this gun? (riddhima nodded her head in ‘yes’) Are you feeling scared? (Riddhima again nodded her head in ‘yes’) Don’t worry, I won’t shoot you (armaan laughed slightly and riddhima looked at him with a blank face). Why will I shoot the person whom I am going to marry?

OUTSIDE DHABA

Muskaan was waiting for rahul to come and pick her up. She was constantly checking her mobile phone for checking the time. Fortunately, her eyes fell on the dhaba entrance and she saw her friends were leaving the dhaba. She hid behind a counter to avoid being caught. She sighed in relief when they were nowhere to be seen. She saw rahul’s car and walked towards the car.

Muskaan (as soon as she sat inside): Did you find out where armaan has taken riddhima?

Rahul: He can take her to three places that’s what I think.

Muskaan: What do you mean you think? Haven’t you found out the exact location?

Rahul: Tell me one thing, who will tell me where armaan is?

Muskaan: His bodyguards who else?

Rahul: Then armaan will know we purposely landed their because do you really think the body guards wont tell him that I was informed of the location?

Muskaan: I thought you guys are like brothers and tell each other everything.

Rahul: Really muskaan? In this world of business, no one is a brother or a friend. You can’t trust anybody. Anyway call armaan’s home to check if he is there or not and if not then we can check the other two places as they are in the same direction.

Muskaan nodded her head and dialed armaans home. To her luck, one of the servants picked up the phone and told her that armaan wasn’t home. So now, they had to check other two places

ARMAAN’S FARMHOUSE

Armaan: You want to know whom I will shoot? (Riddhima looked at armaan with a blank face. Armaan walked towards the TV and switched it on. Riddhima was shocked seeing the picture and looked at armaan, who had a wicked smile on his face). I will shoot your friends.
