When armaan saw riddhma’s face dull and pale, he couldn’t see her like this so he turned the car’s direction and thought to change riddhima’s mood. He wanted to bring back her smile this very moment. Atul’s car that was following armaan’s car stopped for a minute. “Arey why armaan has turned his car aren’t we going home?” murmured a confused atul. “How would I know atul but anyway you follow him” said Anjali. Atul nodded his head in agreement and then started following armaan’s car. “Let me call him and ask what’s the matter,” said nikita and rest of them agreed. Inside armaan’s car muskaan and Rahul who were sitting at the backseat were hell confused, why armaan suddenly changed the direction of the car. “Oye Rahul isne gadi (car) kyun ghuma di” asked muskaan while whispering into rahul’s ear. “Mien kya tujhe koi antar yami lagta hun mujhe nahin pata” Rahul whispered. Muskaan glared at Rahul and in return Rahul gave ‘what did I do’ look. “Rahul ask armaan that where are we going” muskaan again whispered to Rahul. Rahul nodded his head in agreement and this was like a shock because rarely they would agree to each other.

Riddhima who was looking down as if finding something very precious suddenly looked up and realized this wasn’t the road to their house nor to muskaan rahul’s house. She then looked at the radio to check the time and it showed 10:30. She thought its late they should go home now or else parents would worry for all of them. Rahul who was going to ask armaan didn’t get a chance instead riddhima said armaan “this road will not take us to home”. Armaan looked at her and said “wow basket boht jaldi realize kar liya”. Armaan wanted to change riddhima’s mood and he knew exactly how to do it. His destination wasn’t far but before that he wanted to talk to riddhima in their usual style so that she forget’s the incident. “Armaan pagal mat bano batoa na ki hum kaha ja rahe hain” said riddhima but this time she whined like a small kid. Hearing her whining armaan smiled, his idea was working armaan thought.

“Basket pagal banane ki zaroorat hai or waise bhi tumhe road dekh kar abhi tak pata chal Jana chahiye ki hum kahan jaa rahe hain” said armaan. Rahul muskaan who were silently listening to their conversation looked at each other and then outside to recognise where they were going. After seeing also, they couldn’t recognize the place. “Do I look like a google map reader that if I’ll look outside, I’ll get to know the location also” said riddhima. “Then you use google map who is stopping you” armaan said. They were not able to make out why armaan was acting all cool. “Armaan say something,” said riddhima in an impatient voice. “Something” armaan said while smirking. Riddhima hit him on his arm as a reaction. He knew those two sitting behind were getting impatient too but he thanked them silently for not intervening in between. Everything was happening the way he thought should happen and was happy for that.

“Armaan I want to go home please” riddhima whined. Armaan wasn’t prepared for it he thought she would keep on asking him where they were going and he would irritate her so that he could bring back the talkative riddhima, whom he enjoyed bickering with. “Riddhima don’t talk like a kid” said armaan who couldn’t think of anything better than this to avoid the topic. “You again started how many times have I told you not to call me baby” said riddhima. Hearing this, armaan smiled with a grin on his face. He thought, she would still stick to her words of going back but, she was back to her normal self like he wanted before reaching their destination. “Riddhima are your ears fine? When did I say baby? I used the word kid” said armaan and riddhima actually started re thinking of what armaan had said. After a minute she replied saying “you said that’s it”. Armaan wanted to hug riddhima because finally she was back to normal.

Inside atul’s car they were also confused, where armaan was going and why was he going. “Yeh armaan kar kya raha hai” asked Nikki. “Don’t know lets just follow his car and see where he is going,” said anjali and others just nodded their head. Armaan suddenly stopped the car with a screech and said, “Come basket” while looking at her. Hearing this, riddhima saw out of the window to understand where they were but she couldn’t recognize it. “Where are we?” asked riddhima with a scared voice. Armaan just raised his eyebrows and said “only when you will come out you will get to know it”. Riddhima got scared but then calmed down and nodded her head in agreement.

“Armaan will you tell us where are we?” asked Rahul who was waiting patiently till now but couldn’t anymore. Hearing this, riddhima stopped opening the door and thought may be armaan would answer his question if not hers. When armaan saw riddhima stopped going out he got irritated and said, “Basket you go out and Rahul wait for sometime you will get to know about it”. They all came out of the car. Atul’s car was parked just behind his car. After armaan saw them he understood even they would ask him questions so, in order to avoid their questions armaan walked towards riddhima and held her hand. He then started walking towards an unknown direction. 

Rest of the gang looked at each other, they were confused whether they should follow armaan or not. “Now what should we do” asked a confused nikita. “Don’t know but what armaan wants to do” asked anjali. “I think to make riddhima smile he is doing all this” said Rahul. “Oye tera matlab kya hai sahi se explain kar” said muskaan. “What I mean to say is that whatever happened in disco riddhima is upset because of that and we all know armaan can’t see riddhima upset then maybe”. Before he could continue muskaan said “oye khotte we know that but what we want to know is why he has brought us here”. “That only armaan can tell you,” said Rahul. “Vo toh hume bhi pata hai isme naya kya hai” answered muskaan while others just shook their head, Rahul and muskaan again started bickering for no reason. While the gang was busy listening to their bickering armaan led riddhima to an ice cream stall and along with that there were some chaat stalls as well. When riddhima saw this, she automatically smiled and understood now where they were. Armaan first took her to the chaat stall and ordered alloo tikki, chaat papdi, for riddhima and him. When he saw others were also coming he ordered for every one else then. “Oh so for this you turned your car’s direction” said anjali while hitting armaan on his arm. “Kya bhabhi why are you hitting me? Bhai you saw this” whined armaan. “You deserve it for scaring us,” said atul and armaan made a face.

After they received their order, they all sat down and started eating it happily. Riddhima had a smile on her face and armaan could see that. He knew this smile was her natural smile and not a fake one. When they finished eating it, armaan who was sitting next to riddhima held her hand and stood up, making her stand up as well. He started walking towards the stall again and ordered for ‘gol gappa’s’. Riddhima was about to eat it when armaan stopped her and said “you forgot” which made riddhima confused. Seeing her confused face armaan said “tum kitni badi bhulakad ho basket”. Hearing this riddhima immediately answered him saying “mien bhulakad nahiin hun samjhe tum”. “Really then how come you forgot the way we eat gol gappe”. Riddhima smiled and said “I did not forget it I just wanted to see if you remember it or not”. Armaan smiled and thought the way she said was cute. “Ok then 1………2 ……..3 and go” said armaan.

Both of them ate the gol gappa together and the person kept another one on their plate. Without

waiting for a second, they took the other one in their mouth. As soon as they finished eating, both of them were breathing heavily and then looked at each other, within a second they shouted “water”. They ran towards the counter and asked for a bottle. But, to their bad luck the person had only one bottle and so, both of them started arguing first me first me. The shopkeeper was surprised seeing them arguing over a water bottle like kids so he thought to search for another bottle if he had it and luckily, he found it. “Waise ek or bottle” before he could continue armaan snatched the bottle from him. He opened it and drank the water. Riddhima also quickly drank the water, the gol gappa that they were eating was a spicy one and since childhood, this had been their habit. 

Meanwhile others were just sitting, talking and watching them. “Armaan did right by bringing her here riddhima’s mood has changed,” said Nikki. “Totally agree” said anjali. “Oye see there those two are eating gol gappe let us also go” said muskaan who saw armaan riddhima eating gol gappa’s. “No muskaan they are having fun while behaving like kids let them enjoy,” said atul and she nodded. Rahul thought if he would have said this muskaan would have eaten him alive. “Meanwhile let me call home and inform them that we will get bit late,” said anjali while dialing the number and others simply nodded their head.

GUPTA HOUSE

Shashank was sitting in his study while reading some of the files when Padma entered the room. Seeing Padma enter the room shashank asked, “Has riddhima come”. Padma shook her head and said “as of now not but Anjali had called, they will get bit late”. Hearing this shashank nodded his head and again started reading the files. He knew, as long as his daughter was with atul Anjali and armaan she would never be in trouble. He had seen armaan from his childhood how he always used to protect and take care for riddhima, may be that was the reason why he agreed. Before he could continue thinking further Padma interrupted “have you submitted those papers in court”. Shashank looked at her and said “Yes”. Hearing his answer, Padma asked him further “Now what will you guys do”. Shashank knew what she wanted to hear so he replied “don’t worry Padma everything is planned and they will not come to know about it. Billy and I are waiting for next week”. Hearing this Padma simply nodded her head and silently prayed that their plan worked and not backfire.

BACK TO THE GANG

Armaan held riddhima’s hand and started walking towards the ice cream stall. When the gang saw them moving towards the ice cream stall they went to gol gappa stall and started eating gol gappa. When armaan riddhima reached the stall riddhima said “mujhe”. Before she could continue, armaan completed her statement “mujhe strawberry ice cream chahiye right” and riddhima just nodded her head with a smile. “What yar basket do you know even kids like strawberry ice cream”. Hearing this riddhima just playfully hits armaan on his arm. “Tum nahiin sudhroge mujhe pata hai” said riddhima. “Good that you know” said armaan while winking at riddhima. Before riddhima could say anything, the person gave them their ice cream. Riddhima then realized armaan too had ordered strawberry ice cream. Seeing that riddhima stated “now look who is trying to be a baby” she said this in a baby voice which made armaan smile, he flashed his dimples.

“Actually I thought that when you are ready to be a baby then I should give you a company” said armaan while smiling and eating his ice cream. Riddhima started laughing while eating her ice cream. Suddenly she started coughing. Seeing her coughing, armaan held her ice cream cup and started massaging her back. The moment she stopped coughing armaan angrily said, “How many times have I told you not to laugh while eating”. He was scolding her but riddhima just looked at him and made a baby face. “Now don’t make that cute face I wont melt seeing that”. Hearing this riddhima used her second weapon of melting armaan, she held her ears and said “sorry and if you don’t melt even now then I will do uthak bethak”. Hearing this armaan smiled and when riddhima saw him smiling she understood that she was successful. She started jumping in joy. “Now give back my ice cream,” said riddhima. Armaan gave her the ice cream and she started eating her ice cream again. Armaan stared at riddhima and smiled. He thought ‘riddhima is just like a kid who gets happy by doing simple things’. Before he could think further riddhima broke his thoughts and said, “Where you lost eat it or else it will melt”. He looked at her then nodded his head and started eating his ice cream. He was happy that he was able to bring riddhima’s smile back, that was lost few minutes back. He ordered the ice cream for every one and went towards the car where others were waiting for them.

“Finally they are here” said Rahul and then they all sat in the car after taking their ice cream from armaan. When they started driving armaan took out another ice cream that was choco bar and handed it to riddhima. He said “another one for you”. Seeing the ice cream riddhima excitedly shouted, “yaayyy thank you sooo much love you for this”. Armaan just shook his head while smiling. “Now don’t eat like a baby,” said armaan. The moment he said this riddhima’s ice cream melted a bit and fell on her dress. She made a oopps face and looked at armaan. Armaan saw that and said “Punishment time, now you will have to do what I say, done”. Riddhima nodded her head. Armaan dropped muskaan first then Rahul and finally reached towards riddhima’s house. After dropping her, he parked the car and went inside the house. Also, atul and anjali entered after armaan. They all slept after the tiring day.

Next Morning they all woke up and started getting ready for their college whereas atul anjali were getting ready for the office. Armaan hugged his mom and dad. He said bye to atul anjali and went to riddhima’s house. He entered the Gupta mansion and asked Padma where was riddhima. Though, he already knew the answer but it had become a habit for him, that he himself never understood. He entered riddhima’s room and saw her sleeping. Next, he saw a jug filled with water and picked it up. He always found the jug filled with water, by now he knew who kept this jug for him every morning here. It was Padma, since she had noticed armaan taking water from washroom so, to make things easier for him she started keeping the jug filled with water. He threw the water on riddhima and riddhima woke up while shouting his name. She started running behind him to hit him. After their running session, armaan went down and started having his breakfast. After sometime, riddhima came down and sat next to armaan. She started eating her breakfast and glared at armaan and in return, he simply winked at her.

They went to the college together in armaan’s car. Upon reaching college as usual, armaan went to the last bench where Rahul and abhimanyu were already sitting. Riddhima sat with Nikki and muskaan at their usual seat. She heard a girl whispering ‘see even today they came together’. Another girl said ‘I have also heard that they come in same car’. Before the girls could continue speaking or riddhima could stop them, the professor entered the class and they all stood up to wish him good morning. During the class, armaan wasn’t much interested in listening to the lecture but suddenly professor’s talk caught his attention. The professor was explaining that merger either can be a friendly merger or be forced to merge to save their business. Also, sometimes if business partners are friend they get their children married to each other. This gained armaan and riddhima’s attention as they were reminded of the party where their parents announced about merger so, did that meant they would want them to get married as well. Then they realized both of them signed some papers as well what was written on those papers? Before they could think further, the bell rang indicating that the class was over and so were their thoughts.

Armaan who wanted to change his mood on this topic went towards riddima and said “its time to give you your punishment”. He had a grin on his face. This also made riddhima forget about this topic as she asked, “tell what I have to do? Which chair do I need to stand on and what do I have to shout? Riddhima said this because every time armaan used to ask her to stand on the chair and shout something weird. “This time the punishment will be different” said armaan with a grin which sacred riddhima fully. Seeing her scared he said, “Not much you just have to bunk this class”. Armaan smiled while riddhima instantly shouted “no”. This shouting gaining others attention in the class. When every one looked at her she said “kya hai apna apna kaam karo yahan koi joke nahiin suna raha jo ither dekh rahe ho”. Others shook their head and went back to their work. She looked at armaan again and said, “No I shall never do that”. Riddhima said this because till date she had never bunked a class so, how can she do it now. Also, she was scared of bunking what if she got caught? Her reputation within teachers would be spoiled. Armaan thought ‘you will have to bunk this class basket’. Both were looking into each other’s eyes determinant about their decision.
