Riddhima entered her classroom and sat on the third bench with muskaan and nikki with either side on her. Guy’s also entered the class and they walked towards the last bench of the class. Riddhima turned back and gestured them to come forward using her hands to which armaan said no by shaking his head. Armaan sat on his chair and thought, “Why I was feeling bad when that guy was sitting next to basket? No no armaan concentrate, do not distract yourself by thinking unncesesarry questions“. Riddhima turned back and mumbled to herself “yeh log hamesha peeche bethkar kya karte hain”. Muskaan saw her speaking something so she asked “oye kya bol rahi hai”. Hearing this riddhima stopped speaking and said while shaking her head “nahiin kuch bhi toh nahiin”. “Waise aaj acha hua ki armaan ne khana kha liya warna mujhe uska tarreka apnana padta” said riddhima to which nikki and muskaan gave her a ‘confused’ look. Riddhima smiled and said “tumhe yaad nahiin hai kya kya”. She then started narrating the incidence that took place in their school.
FLASHBACK
School Canteen
Everyone was sitting in the canteen and eating their food except riddhima. “Oye why aren’t you eating the food” said muskaan but riddhima did not answer her back. At that very moment armaan along With abhimanyu and Rahul walked inside the canteen. They all sat down on chairs. “Hey what have you ordered?” asked Rahul. “Oye tu andha hai kya dikhai nahiin deta khana jo samne pada hai wahi toh order kiya hoga humne apne aap toh khana table pe nahiin aa sakta” said muskaan while abhimanyu and armaan giggled, nikki shook her head. Riddhima was not concentrating on the happenings she was lost somewhere in her thoughts. “Mien andha nahiin hun muskaan bas pooch raha tha kyunki” before Rahul could continue muskaan stopped him in midway. Muskaan said “kyunki tu andha hai iss liye”. Rahul just shook his head but from inside he wanted to just bang his head on some wall because why was he even arguing with her. At that moment, he thought ‘mien kisi se bhi pyaar karoonga per isse nahiin. Jo bhi isse pyaar karega mien khud uska mental check-up karwaonga’. His thoughts were broken when he heard armaan.
“Baby why you aren’t eating anything?” armaan asked riddhima. Riddhima who was lost in her thoughts looked at armaan and said “First of all stop calling me baby otherwise”. She said this while pointing her index finger at armaan. Seeing that armaan smiled and said “I will not stop what will you do?” Riddhima was now in deep thoughts because she didn’t know what threat she would give. She was speaking in flow without thinking so now she started thinking of a threat that she can give to armaan. Armaan interrupted her thinking and said “don’t put pressure on your small mind you and I both know you haven’t thought of any threat. Don’t give me those shock looks I know it”. Riddhima looked at armaan with ‘I-will-Kill-you’ look. Seeing that look armaan chuckled and riddhima just shook her head because she understood it was waste of time to argue with armaan. When armaan noticed riddhima was not saying anything so he continued speaking “Anyway, if you have decided what you wanted to say then please continue speaking”. Hearing this riddhima looked at him and this time in angry tone she said “mien kehna chahti thi varna mien tumse baat nahiin karoongi”. Hearing her threat his first reaction was ‘kiddish’, he smiled and said “you know that’s not possible so forget this threat”. Hearing this, riddhima’s mouth opened and seeing that armaan said “mooh (mouth) band karlo warna makhi ghuss jayegi” she immediately did this.
Meanwhile, others were having their food. They knew armaan and riddhima argue like this only so they were just enjoy listening to it and being entertained. Seeing riddhima not eating armaan again asked her “On a serious note why aren’t you eating?” Riddhima’s head shots up, she didn’t want to answer this question to anybody. If she said lie to others they won’t be able to catch her but if she lied to armaan then he would catch her red handed. She also knew armaan hated lie and if he came to know he would really get angry. Armaan, when got no reply from riddhima understood that there was something which was bothering riddhima. So, he again asked her with a raised tone so that she came out of her thoughts “why aren’t you eating anything?” Riddhima still didn’t answer him so, he was again going to ask her but muskaan interrupted “she might not be hungry anyways eversince we have entered the canteen she hasn’t eaten anything“.
Muskaan wanted to continue by saying ‘she might not have eaten anything because she may have had a heavy breakfast’ but armaan cuts her off. Armaan said, “What you haven’t eaten anything after breakfast? Why don’t you take care of your health?” Armaan stood up from his place and walked towards the canteen counter. After few minutes, he came back with rajma chawal for riddhima. He kept infront of her and with an order tone he said, “Eat”. Riddhima looked at him and said “but I don’t want to eat”. This time armaan didn’t ask her again instead he picked up a spoon and forwarded it towards riddhima’s mouth and said“mooh kholo”. Riddhima looked into armaans eyes and knew that he would not give up so she opened her mouth and armaan fed her. Armaan kept feeding her until she ate the entire food. With their group, it was normal they have often seen armaan feeding riddhima at home if she didn’t eat but for others it was a shock they thought maybe they were girlfriend boyfriend. In between while feeding riddhima armaan asked her “why weren’t you eating the food?” Riddhima looked at him and said, “Will tell you later”. Armaan nodded his head in agreement.
After this, armaan ate his food. After sometime, guys left because they had to practice for their upcoming basketball match. The girls kept sitting and chatting since there was still time left for the break to end. A girl came to riddhima and asked her “is armaan your boyfriend?” Riddhima’s eyes widened and she looked at the girl. Riddhima immediately said “nahiin”. After calming down, she looked at the girl, she was scared of her hyperactive reaction so she continued speaking “why are you asking like this?” The girl looked at her and after seeing her calm said “sometime back he was making you eat food so I thought so. Anyways the whole school said you guys look cute together”. After hearing this, riddhima had no answer she was in shock hearing that whole school thought they looked cute together. She cursed them from within ‘aakhien hain ya button dikhta nahiin hai ki hum friends hain kya friends ek doosere ko khana bhi nahiin khila sakte idiots’. The girl waved her hand infront of her eyes and said “where are you lost”. Riddhima smiled and answered her back “We are best of friends”. After she said this, riddhima along with muskaan and nikki left for her class.
FLASHBACK ENDS
Remembering this, the girls giggled and when they were about to speak the professor entered the classroom. He took out the attendance register. Meanwhile, armaan was busy thinking of what to do with that junior. Armaan was so lost in his thoughts that when professor called his name he did not answer present. So, Rahul who was sitting next to him nudged him and asked him to say present. Armaan looked at the professor who was fuming with anger for not saying present. The professor said “armaan tum college main sone aate ho kya”. Hearing this, armaan instantly stood up and said “sorry sir it wont happen again”. Professor nodded his head and asked him to sit down. Armaan sighed in relief and sat down. After sometime, he suddenly smiled because he got an idea. Now he was waiting for the class to finish because after this class he had some free time as next class was after one hour. During the class he was rethinking of his idea again and again so that it was a perfect plan with no faults.
With the bell ringing, the class got over and armaan was very excited as it was time to execute his plan. He stood up and was about to walk when girls came. Girls asked them if they would like to accompany them for shopping. The market was next to their college so it wouldn’t take much time to reach there, they wanted to buy a dress for tonight’s function. The guys had no option but to agree, also they had no excuse as well. Armaan was sad that he wouldn’t be able to do execute his plan now. They all sat in armaan’s car and left for the market. Rahul was sitting in the front where as other four were sitting behind. Riddhima was sitting on muskaan’s lap whereas nikki and abhimanyu were sitting next to muskaan. Nikki was happy to sit next to abhimanyu she was trying hard to control her blush but it went in vain. Therefore, to distract herself she started a conversation.
“I am so excited for the party in the evening,” said nikki and others smiled. “Oye waise armaan party ka theme kya hai” muskaan asked. “Nothing specific, for elder couple it’s red and black whereas for kids no specific colour”. Hearing this Rahul said “oh shit I don’t have a suit the one I had has gone for dry cleaning and would come back by next week. I didn’t have any other party dress currently”. Rahul whined like a kid. “Abe itna kyun pareshaan ho raha hai hum market jaa rahe hain na naya khareed liyo” abhimanyu said. Armaan parked the car and all of them got down. They entered a shop, which had both women and men’s wear. Men’s wear was on second floor and girls wear was on first floor so they walked towards their respective sections. They decided they would meet each other exactly after forty minutes because they needed ten minutes to reach back to college.
After exactly forty minutes, they came down and every one had a bag with a dress in it. They walked towards the car. They rushed towards their class and sighed in relief when no teacher was in the class, they sat down. The teacher walked in and started the class. Armaan again started thinking how he would tackle that guy after this class for the day. So, he impatiently waited for this class to get over. He got irritated further because the professor was making him write some notes. This was the last thing he wanted to do now. Somehow, one hour passed away by writing notes and understanding the explanation. As soon as the bell rang, armaan kept his register inside the desk and stood up to walk out of the class. After coming out of the class, he started searching for that person and when he failed to find him he asked a passerby that where were the juniors. The passerby told him that juniors had only orientation today and they had left after attending it. Armaan sighed and went to play basketball where he saw abhimanyu and Rahul were already practicing.
The talk, which was interrupted earlier in the day due to professor, happened in this free time. “Waise tum subha class shuru hone se pehle kuch bolne wali thi na” nikki asked as she remembered that. “Mien nahiin toh kyun”riddhima said. “No when you said if armaan wouldn’t have heard you, you would have fed him in his style” nikki said. Hearing this riddhima again remembered her school incident and smiled. “Hain vo…. Vo mien kehna chahti thi ki acha hua usne kha liya warna sabke samne mujhe usse khilana padta aur phir jaise school main sabko hum cute couple lagte the college main bhi sabko lagta aur mujhe vo tag nahiin chahiye tha” riddhima said. Hearing this muskaan said “oye everyone already feels that armaan and you are girlfriend boyfriend”. Hearing this riddhima’s mouth opened and she stared at muskaan. “Why are you staring me like this? The way you both behave people think that you are a couple it’s not my fault” muskaan said. “Muskaan tu janti hai na mien aur armaan sirf ache dost hain aur kuch bhi nahiin kya dost log ek doosere ke saath time bhi spend nahiin kar sakte” riddhima whined like a small child.
When nikki and muskaan saw her whining, hifived each other and started giggling. Then riddhima realized that they were just teasing her and nothing else. “Honestly both of you look cute together,” nikki said. Riddhima hit her playfully on her arm and said “not again, you guys are teasing me since school days don’t you guys get bored”. Both of them shook their head and started giggling again. Riddhima sighed and thought it was not good to argue with them so she better changed the topic. “I had heard that in today’s party there will be an announcement. Though I don’t know what that announcement is but still I am curious to know,” said riddhima, muskaan, and Nikki who were giggling until now stopped giggling. “Oye hogi koi business ki announcement” Nikki said because she thought that businessman people often announce of new projects in parties like this.
“Waise tum logo ne kaunsi colour ki dress khareedi hai” asked muskaan excitedly. “Miene toh yellow colour ki dress li hai” Nikki said while blushing since yellow colour was abhimanyu’s favourite colour. Both muskaan and riddhima say together “ohhhhh”. They knew Nikki liked abhimanyu so they always teased her. “Shut up guys” nikki said. To divert the topic nikki asked muskaan “which colour dress have you bought?” Muskaan without realising said “blue colour”. Hearing this a mischivious smile came on riddhima’s face and she said “blue colour wow its rahuls favourite colour”. Hearing this muskaan immediately said “oye uss kankhajoore ka naam mat le”. Seeing her getting hyperactive, Nikki thought it was better to change the topic so she asked riddhima “which colour dress have you taken?” “Red colour” riddhima said. “As expected” said nikki while muskaan just giggled. Seeing her friends like this riddhima couldn’t control and asked them “Why are you guys laughing? “You mostly buy dress that is red in colour and red colour is armaans favourite colour” muskaan said.
Before she could continue, further riddhima cut her off and said “I know that so what?” Muskaan said “Nothing you wont understand”. Hearing this Nikki giggled and riddhima became confused so she asked “why wouldn’t I understand?” This time nikki replied “because you are a baby”. Hearing this, riddhima got offended and replied saying her famous dialogue “I am not baby did you get it and please tell me what did you mean”. Hearing this, girls chuckled and nikki said “abhi nahiin phir kabhi chal class ke liye der ho rahi hai”. They stood up and went for their class while riddhima kept thinking ‘what do they mean by I wont understand and so what if I have taken a red colour dress? Above all, so what if its armaan’s favourite colour? I really fail to understand them’.
The next class was the last class for the day. It was decided that the girls would go to riddhima’s house to get ready for the party while guys would go to armaan’s house to get ready. When riddhima reached her home with nikki and muskaan they ate some food as they were feeling hungry and then went to riddhima’s room to take a sweet nap. Meanwhile, in armaans home firstly all three of them talked with Anjali and atul, discussed about the evening’s preparations and the gift they have bought for them. After sometime, they all felt the need to take nap because evening would be hectic for them. In the evening, when girls woke up they panicked because they had very less time to get ready. They were supposed to get up one hour before, now they had only one and half hour to get ready so, without wasting any time they started getting ready. Meanwhile guys had already woken up, also because the noise didn’t let them sleep for long.
After two hours, the girls entered the house and so did the guests. Armaan was stunned seeing riddhima, she was wearing a red colour anarkali dress. ‘She is looking beautiful’ armaan thought. Whereas Rahul murmured “wow” after he saw muskaan in blue dress. ‘She is looking stunning’ Rahul thought. While abhimanyu just looked at nikki and thought ‘she is looking pretty’. When nikki felt abhimanyu was looking at her she blushed but since she was standing far away he couldn’t see her blushing. Muskaan just shook her head seeing Rahul whereas riddhima smiled, seeing armaan was looking at her. Armaan walked towards riddhima and whispered in her ears “basket you are looking very beautiful today”. Hearing this riddhima blushed and no one noticed it, even she didn’t realize that she was blushing. All of them were busy talking when they heard billy’s voice.
“Hello everyone, I hope everyone is enjoying the party. My best friend shashank and I are here to announce that we have decided to merge one of our business unit. Yes, soon a merger will happen and in future it be handled by Armaan mallik and Riddhima gupta. Until they complete their studies, my other son atul mallik will handle the company. Shashank and I will continue to work in our individual company”. After hearing this, armaan and riddhima were shocked along with their friends. Padma, Ananya, Anjali and Atul were not shocked because they were aware of this announcement.
